BACOLOD CITY – Leading township developer Megaworld is eyeing to generate PHP1.6 billion in sales from its third residential condominium project in this city set to be completed in 2025.

Dubbed One Manhattan, the 14-story tower will rise inside the 34-hectare The Upper East township.

“This is our first residential development in Bacolod with more generous unit layouts and sizes as well as generous unique amenities,” Jennifer Palmares-Fong, vice president for sales and marketing, Megaworld Bacolod, said in a statement on Friday.

One Manhattan offers 260 units ranging from studio, which measures up to 33 square meters; a bedroom up to 85 square meters;  two bedrooms, up to 112 square meters; and three bedrooms, up to 153 square meters.

The one, two, and three-bedroom units have various layout choices, including bi-level garden units, as well as loft units with either lanai or balcony.

“Our loft units are first of their kind because we hope to give the best for Bacolod,” Palmares-Fong said.

Other “first-in-Bacolod” amenities include a wall climbing facility, putting green, mini track oval with gym, and outdoor jacuzzi at the second level amenity deck, and an exclusive bar and lounge at the tower’s roof deck.

In February last year, Megaworld launched its second residential tower, Two Regis, which will also rise inside The Upper East township by 2023.

The property giant projected about PHP1.5 billion in sales from the 14-story Two Regis, which was unveiled six months after it introduced the first tower, One Regis, whose units had been sold out since then.

One Regis, a nine-story residential structure, offered 212 exclusive units with first-class amenities.

In a statement, Megaworld said that since the launch of its first residential condominium development here in 2018, prices of units in The Upper East have already appreciated by 40 percent.

The PHP28-billion township in Bacolod will also include shopping malls and commercial centers, mixed-use buildings, office towers, and hotels with facilities, including a transport hub, church, green and open parks, and a central plaza. (PNA)
