MANILA – Incumbent Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) president Bambol Tolentino named his two vice presidential candidates for the organization's upcoming general election.
"My first vice president is Al Panlilio of basketball and my second vice president is Richard Gomez of fencing and modern pentathlon," Tolentino said during the online Philippine Sportswriters Association Forum on Tuesday.
Tolentino also said his ticket for the POC election "is almost complete."
He added that he may reveal the full lineup of his team as early as next week.
Candidates can begin filing their certificates of candidacy on Oct. 1.
The POC election will take place on Nov. 27.
Tolentino is seeking a second term as POC chief while being challenged by current POC board member Clint Aranas. (PNA)
