Bicol records 9 Covid-19 recoveries, 14 new cases

LEGAZPI CITY – The Department of Health-Center for Health Development (DOH-CHD) in Bicol recorded nine new recoveries from coronavirus disease (Covid-19) on Wednesday.

In a situation report, the agency said the latest recovered patients are from Camarines Norte-2; Sorsogon-1; Legazpi City-1 and Naga City-5.

“There are now 1,308 recoveries recorded or 73.24 percent of the total confirmed cases in the region as of Tuesday,” the report said.

Meanwhile, the DOH also recorded 14 new Covid-19 cases. They are from Camarines Sur-1; Catanduanes-6; Legazpi City-4 and Naga City-3.

As of Tuesday, Bicol region has a total of 1,786 confirmed Covid-19 cases, of whom 412 are on active status and admitted at various hospitals or isolation facilities, while 66 have died. (PNA)
