MANILA – Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to low pressure area (LPA), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday.

In its 5 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA also reported the trough of a LPA affecting the Eastern Visayas and Mindanao, causing cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

It said northeasterly surface wind flow is affecting the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Aurora, and Quezon.

Light to moderate winds will blow all over the country while moderate to strong winds will blow all over northern and central Luzon.

Meanwhile, moderate to rough coastal waters will be present in Northern and Central Luzon while the rest of the country will have slight to moderate coastal waters.

Sunday’s minimum temperature is 24.7°C while the maximum temperature is 28.2°C, PAGASA said. (PNA)
