TNT clips Phoenix to stay undefeated

MANILA – Talk ‘N Text used a second half explosion to turn back Phoenix, 110-91, in a battle of unbeaten Philippine Basketball Association teams at the Angeles University Foundation Sports and Cultural Center on Monday night.

The Tropang Giga outscored the Fuel Masters, 65-37, in the final 24 minutes of action to pull away for good.

RR Pogoy braved an ankle injury he suffered in TNT's last game and amassed 30 points on 11-of-22 shooting, five rebounds, two assists, one steal, and one block as the team moved back to solo first place with a 4-0 record.

Poy Erram added 18 points on 7-of-12 shooting, 15 rebounds, one assist, three blocks, and one steal off the bench.

Matt Wright's 31-point blast went down the drain as Phoenix suffered its first loss after a 2-0 start.
