MANILA – The trough of two tropical storms, "Rolly" and "Siony", will bring scattered rains over most parts of the archipelago, the weather bureau said on Monday.

“Rolly” was last seen 85 km. west of Subic, Zambales, packing a maximum sustained winds of 65 kph near the center, and gustiness of up to 80 kph. "Siony", on the other hand, has the same strength, and was last tracked 850 km. east of northern Luzon.

According to the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration's (PAGASA) 5 a.m. bulletin, “Rolly” and “Siony's” trough will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Luzon.

The trough of Rolly will cause the same weather conditions over Western Visayas, Central Visayas, and the Zamboanga Peninsula.

The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, moderate to strong winds, and moderate to rough seas will prevail over the whole country, PAGASA said. (PNA)
