BALANGA City, Bataan – Governor Albert Garcia on Tuesday reported that for the first time no one tested positive for the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) in the province.

The number of confirmed cases remained at 3,651 with lower active cases listed at 77. The number of deaths is still at 78.

Those who recovered rose to 3,496 after 10 more recoveries with four coming from Orani, two each from Balanga City and Morong and one each from Limay and Mariveles.

The continued decline in the number of Covid-19 positive in our province is very heartening. It simply means that the cooperation of everyone in complying with the policies and programs of the government to stem transmission within the communities is effective),” the governor said.

However, let us not be complacent or indifferent because the threat remains),” Garcia added. (PNA)
