MANILA – Some rains brought by the northeast monsoon (amihan) will drench parts of the country on Saturday.

In its daily weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Visayas, and the Caraga and Davao regions will have cloudy skies with rains.

Cagayan Valley, the Cordillera, and Bicol regions, as well as the provinces of Aurora and Quezon, will have cloudy skies with light rains brought by the amihan.

Meanwhile, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will get partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains.

Moderate to strong winds headed northeast will blow over Luzon, the Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao, causing moderate to rough coastal waters.

The rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds headed northeast, and rough to moderate coastal waters.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 21°C to 29°C; Lipa City, 23°C to 28°C; Metro Cebu, 24°C to 28°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 22°C to 31°C; and Metro Davao, 24°C to 30°C. (PNA)
