MANILA – A low pressure area (formerly Tropical Depression Auring) will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over parts of Luzon, the weather bureau said Tuesday.

This weather condition will prevail over Metro Manila, Cordillera, Mimaropa, Central Luzon, Calabarzon regions, and the provinces of Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Quirino, and Camarines Norte, according to the latest weather bulletin of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA).

The LPA was last seen 105 kilometers east of Infanta, Quezon.

Ilocos Region and the rest of Cagayan Valley will experience isolated light rains due to the northeast monsoon affecting extreme Northern Luzon.

The rest of the country will have isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

PAGASA has forecast moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas over the northern and eastern sections of Northern Luzon.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
