MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience isolated rain showers Tuesday, the weather bureau said.

In its daily forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be experienced over mainland Cagayan Valley and Cordillera regions, the provinces of Aurora, Nueva Ecija, Bulacan and the northern portion of Quezon due to the tail-end of frontal system.

Batanes and Babuyan Islands will experience light rains caused by the northeasterly surface windflow.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over extreme Northern Luzon.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said.

Meanwhile, the low pressure area that PAGASA has been monitoring was last spotted 120 kilometers west of Coron, Palawan. (PNA)
