Easterlies to bring rains Saturday

MANILA – Expect scattered or isolated rains in several parts of the country on Saturday brought by the easterlies.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in Palawan and the Caraga region.

PAGASA said the same weather system will bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms In Metro Manila and the rest of the country.

Light to moderate winds headed east to southeast will blow over the whole country, causing slight to moderate coastal water conditions.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 26°C to 36°C; Tagaytay City, 23°C to 32°C; Puerto Princesa City, 25°C to 32°C; Metro Cebu, 25°C to 33°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 25°C to 33°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 34°C. (PNA)
