MANILA – Pasig Mayor Vico Sotto on Friday called on the city residents to update their profile to avail themselves of the coronavirus disease 2019 vaccines.
"There are a few profiles with errors. If it's been one month after your profile was updated and no profiler has contacted you yet, please call #PASIG or #72744 (PLDT/Smart/Sun/TNT)(we are working with Globe to open this for their users too) or 86430000," Sotto said in a social media post.
His call came as the city government has already utilized 48,696 doses of the vaccines deployed by the national government.
In his social media post on Thursday night, the mayor said a total of 44,202 residents received the first dose, of which 13,284 are A1 (healthcare workers), 21,680 are A2 (senior citizens) and 9,238 are A3 (persons with comorbidities.)
Some 4,494 are fully vaccinated of which 3,281 are health workers, 10 elderly, and 1,203 with comorbidities.
Sotto reported that the immunization flow in various vaccination sites is "generally smooth" and though more doses are set to arrive in the city, these are not enough to open more sites.
Sinovac, AstraZeneca, and Pfizer vaccines have been rolled out by the city.
As of May 14, Pasig City logged 27,049 total confirmed cases, of which 664 are active; 25,627 recoveries, and 758 deaths.
"We urge everyone to remain vigilant and be mindful of observing the minimum public health standards at all times," the city government reminded the public. (PNA)
