MANILA – The Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) will reschedule two more games due to the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) situation marring the Talk ‘N Text team.

The league announced on Wednesday that the Tropang Giga's Saturday game against the Meralco Bolts has been postponed.

This is the second TNT game postponed following the revelation of four players who either got confirmed positive results or results still to be verified in their latest Covid-19 testing.

For being the Tropang Giga's opponents last week, the Terrafirma Dyip have also been affected as their Friday clash with the Rain Or Shine Elasto Painters has been called off too.

Terrafirma and TNT were initially scheduled to see action against Alaska and Magnolia, respectively, on Wednesday

On Tuesday, however, both games were postponed, and the Aces will clash with the Hotshots instead in the second game of the midweek twin bill.

Meanwhile, Meralco will now have ROS as its opponent for Saturday, facing off two weeks earlier than expected as they were initially scheduled for an Aug. 8 clash.

On the other hand, the other two games of a Friday triple-header, Ginebra vs. Blackwater and San Miguel vs. NLEX, will go on as they are originally scheduled at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m., respectively.

The PBA will announce the new schedule for the postponed games at a later date. (PNA)
