MANILA – Typhoon Fabian has continued to move northward and is now outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) at 640 km. north-northeast of Itbayat, Batanes.

Cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms brought by the southwest monsoon will prevail in Western Visayas and the rest of Luzon.

Moderate to strong winds, headed southwest, will blow over Luzon, the Visayas, and the eastern seaboard of Mindanao, with moderate to strong coastal water conditions.

The rest of Mindanao will have light to moderate winds, also headed southwest, with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 24°C to 30°C; Baguio City, 17°C to 19°C; Legazpi City, 25°C to 30°C; Kalayaan Group of Islands, 27°C to 31°C; Cagayan de Oro City, 24°C to 35°C; and Metro Davao, 25°C to 35°C. (PNA)
