MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan – Two female drug peddlers yielded some PHP816,000 worth of shabu in the town of Marilao on Thursday.

In a statement Friday, Col. Lawrence Cajipe, director of the Bulacan Police Provincial Office, said the suspects Cheryl Quijano and Rodelyn Jorge Ronquillo, were arrested in a buy-bust in Barangay Lambakin.

Confiscated from the suspects were 14 transparent plastic sachets of shabu weighing around 120 grams.

He said appropriate criminal complaints against the arrested suspects are being prepared for filing in court.

“Bulacan police’s relentless efforts in implementing its intensified campaign against illegal drugs to curb criminality and to arrest the notorious elements involved in the illegal drug trade are in line with the directive of Brig. Gen. Valeriano T. De Leon, Police Regional Office 3 regional director,” Cajipe said. (PNA)
