MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan – Governor Daniel R. Fernando on Friday called on Bulakenyos to register with the Commission on Elections (Comelec) so that they can choose the future leaders in the May 2022 polls.

Fernando, in a statement, appealed to his constituents who have not yet registered to seize the opportunity to do so and exercise their right to choose the future leaders of the province and the country.

“Sa mga hindi pa nakakapagparehistro, magparehistro na po kayo. Gamitin po natin ang ating karapatang bumoto at pumili ng mga lingkod bayan na makakatulong sa higit na ikatatagumpay ng ating pamahalaan, lipunan at komunidad (To those who are still unregistered, do register. Let us use our right to vote and choose the public servants that could help more in the success of our government, society and community),” he said.

The Comelec set the deadline for voter’s registration on Sept. 30, 2021.

Registration in this province, which is under modified enhanced community quarantine, is open from Mondays to Saturdays including holidays from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Office of the Election Officer and at satellite registration sites.

To register, Bulakenyos may visit https://irehistro.comelec.gov.ph/ or go to the Comelec office. The schedule of satellite registration activities may be viewed on the Comelec website, www.comelec.gov.ph or [email protected]. (PNA)
