MANILA – Most parts of the country will continue to experience fair weather and isolated rains, a weather forecaster said on Wednesday.

"Fair weather will be experienced over most of Luzon. It will be warm and humid at noon, while there are localized thunderstorms in the afternoon or evening," Benison Estareja of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

The temperature in Metro Manila and Laoag could reach up to 33°C, while Tuguegarao could have up to 35°C.

"The Visayas will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies. Panay Island, northern Negros, northern Cebu, and most of Eastern Visayas will experience localized thunderstorms," he said.

Most of Mindanao will have fair weather and will be humid at noon. Localized thunderstorms are likely in the afternoon.

Light to moderate winds and slight to moderate seas will continue to prevail over the entire archipelago.

Estareja said Typhoon Mindulle (international name) may or may not enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).

"It is still outside PAR, and may enter by Wednesday. It is also possible that it will not enter PAR and be just near the east of extreme northern Luzon and then move away," he said. (PNA)
