4 police execs get new assignments in latest PNP revamp

MANILA – Philippine National Police (PNP) chief, Gen. Guillermo Eleazar, has ordered another revamp of officials, more than a week before he retires from the service on November 13.

In an order dated Nov. 3 and released on Thursday, Eleazar named current Highway Patrol Group (HPG) commander, Brig. Gen. Alexander Tagum, as the new chief of the Police Regional Office in Soccsksargen (PRO 12).

Tagum will replace Brig. Gen. Michael John Dubria, who will now head the Directorate for Intelligence.

Meanwhile, Brig. Gen. Gregory Bogñalbal from Office of the Chief PNP, will replace Tagum as HPG chief, while Col. Neri Vincent Ignacio will head to the Office of the Chief PNP from the Directorate for Comptrollership.

The revamp will take effect on November 5. (PNA)
