MANILA – Cloudy skies with rain showers will prevail over parts of Luzon and Visayas due to northeast monsoon or “amihan”, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Sunday.

In its 5 a.m. weather bulletin, the agency reported partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers will prevail over Mindanao due to localized thunderstorms.

It warned residents living in affected areas against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.

Meantime, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to northeast monsoon.

Moderate to strong winds moving northeast will blow over Luzon, Visayas, and the eastern section of Mindanao with moderate to rough coastal waters.

Light to moderate winds from northeast to north will blow over Mindanao with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The minimum temperature is 29 °C while the maximum temperature is 22.1 °C. (PNA)
