Kyrie Irving scores career-high 60 points to lift Nets past Magic

ANKARA – Kyrie Irving scored a career-high of 60 points as Brooklyn Nets sealed an easy 150-108 win against Orlando Magic late Tuesday.

Having scored 41 points in the first half, the 29-year-old also broke the Nets franchise record for most points in a single game and finished eight of 12 on 3-pointers.

Kevin Durant played with 19 points and Patty Mills came off the bench to add 15 points in the Nets' fourth consecutive victory.

Cole Anthony finished with 19 points and seven assists, while Wendell Carter Jr. dropped 18 points for the Magic.

The Nets rank eighth with a 36-33 win-loss record, while the Magic are placed 15th with 18 wins and 52 losses in the Eastern Conference.

March performances in NBA

NBA fans witnessed some impressive and record-setting performances in March.

Before a career-high of 60 points against the Magic, Irving had another stunning form by dropping 50 points against Charlotte Hornets.

His teammate Durant dropped 53 points in a win against New York Knicks as he and Irving became the first teammates in history to score at least 50 points in consecutive games.

Another franchise record was set by Minnesota Timberwolves star Karl-Anthony Towns, who scored 60 points to lead his team to a 149-139 win over San Antonio Spurs.

He also broke a new career-high record in points with this performance.

A five-time NBA champion, Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James recorded two 50-point performances in March.

He poured season-high 56 points against Golden State Warriors and 50 points over Washington Wizards, lifting the Lakers to victories in these two games.
