CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has completed another project inside Camp Julian Olivas here as part of its support to improve Philippine National Police (PNP) facilities across Central Luzon.

DPWH-Pampanga 1st Assistant District Engineer Alfie Lejarde said on Tuesday the new two-story Regional Headquarters Support Unit (RHSU) building will serve as the office of police personnel of security, safety, general utilities, and special services to the regional headquarters of Police Regional Office 3 (PRO-3).

He said another structure, a two-story Regional Internal Affairs Service (RIAS) building, will also be built inside the camp and is expected to be completed next year.

He said an initial funding of PHP20 million has been allocated for the project and they have also requested an additional PHP15 million to ensure that the structure will be finished on schedule.

Last month, two structures -- the two-story Kabataan Kontra Droga at Terorismo building and the Regional Headquarters Support Unit building -- were likewise completed inside Camp Olivas. (PNA)
