3 nabbed, P136-M worth of shabu seized in Cavite

MANILA – Law enforcers have arrested three suspects and confiscated PHP136 million worth of shabu in Cavite on Monday evening.

In a report on Tuesday, the Philippine National Police - Drug Enforcement Group (PDEG) said suspects Isaac Gabriel Ambulo, 29; Roman Hosias Ambulo, 25; and Abdurrahim Ambulo, 41, were arrested during a buy-bust at Molino Blvd, Mambog IV, Bacoor, Cavite City at around 6:15 p.m. Monday.

Recovered from the suspects were 20 kilos of suspected shabu, boodle money, a Honda Civic with plate number ZDJ 368, and assorted identification cards and documents.

Meanwhile, two suspects identified as Saddam Hadji Gaffor and Nabil Madarang fled during the incident.

The suspects will be charged with violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 while the seized pieces of evidence were brought to the PDEG Special Operations Unit - National Capital Region (SOU NCR) at Camp Bagong Diwa, Taguig City for documentation.

According to PDEG, the suspects are among the sources of shabu listed under Coplan Rangar, who are openly distributing volumes of illegal drugs in the areas of NCR, Cavite and nearby cities/municipalities. (PNA)
