New Covid-19 cases in NCR still below 100 on April 25: OCTA

MANILA – The number of new cases of Covid-19 in the National Capital Region (NCR) remain under 100 as of April 25, the OCTA Research Group said Tuesday.

NCR logged 99 new infections, slightly higher than the 95 infections recorded the previous day, OCTA Research Group fellow Dr. Guido David said over Twitter.

Next to NCR in the list is the province of Cavite with 13 cases; Batangas, eight; Negros Occidental, eight; Davao del Sur, six; and Rizal, six.

For the local government units in the NCR, Makati City recorded the most number of new cases at 17. It was followed by Manila City with 16 cases; Quezon City, 14; and Caloocan City, eight.

On Monday, the Department of Health reported 213 new Covid-19 infections, bringing the total tally of active cases to 12,639. (PNA)
