CAMP ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Three drug suspects, including a woman, were arrested in a police operation that led to the confiscation of some PHP3.4 million worth of shabu in Bocaue town on Wednesday night.

In his report on Thursday, Col. Charlie A. Cabradilla, acting Bulacan provincial director, identified the suspects as Jayson Falcon, 50, of Barangay San Antonio, Quezon City; Edwardo Elgarlino, 45, and Sarah Biscante, 44, both of Barangay Balon Bato, Balintawak, Quezon City.

The buy-bust was launched by personnel from the Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group, Special Operations Unit-3, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency-Central Luzon, and Bocaue Municipal Police Station along McArthur Highway in Barangay Bunlo at around 9:20 p.m.

Cabradilla said the operation was established through reports that Falcon is the source of illegal drugs in the area and adjacent barangays.

Seized from the suspects was one brown tape sealed foil pack containing shabu, weighing some 500 grams and with a Dangerous Drugs Board-estimated price of PHP3,400,000.

The suspects will be charged with the violation of Republic Act 9165, the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002. (PNA)
