“The SEMPO is conducted once a month with all police stations required to produce positive results in the drive against illegal drugs, firearms, and gambling, as well as the service of warrants of arrest,” Mallari said in mixed English and Cebuano.

Records at the Negros Oriental Provincial Police Office showed that on June 11, police arrested a total of 10 persons in relation to the illegal drugs trade and seized 9.5 grams of suspected shabu with an estimated value of PHP64,260.

On illegal gambling, 12 operations were launched with 25 people arrested with seven others at-large while PHP2,507 in bet money was confiscated.

The campaign against Most Wanted Persons and Other Wanted Persons netted 52 individuals who were arrested for various criminal charges filed against them in court.

Meanwhile, 10 Oplan Katok operations in relation to the campaign against loose firearms yielded 10 various firearms while 22 others were either confiscated or surrendered.
