MANILA – Easterlies will bring rain showers, particularly in the eastern section of the country, on Saturday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the Davao Region, Agusan del Sur, and Surigao del Sur.

The same weather forecast warned of possible flash floods or landslides due to moderate to at times heavy rains in these areas.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies and localized thunderstorms.

There will be light to moderate winds heading east to the southeast in the whole country, with slight to moderate coastal waters.

The temperature in Metro Manila will be around 25°C to 32°C; Baguio City at 16°C to 24°C; Legazpi City at 26°C to 33°C; metro Cebu at 25°C to 32°C; Cagayan de Oro City at 25°C to 32°C; and Metro Davao at 25°C to 32°C. (PNA)
