MANILA – Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms will prevail over Southern Luzon, the Visayas, and Mindanao due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Thursday.
In its 5 a.m. weather bulletin, PAGASA said the Visayas, the Bicol Region, the Zamboanga Peninsula, and Mimaropa will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ or southwest monsoon.
Meantime, Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.
Residents in affected areas are warned against possible flash floods or landslides during severe thunderstorms.
Light to moderate winds will blow over the whole country from southwest to southeast with slight to moderate coastal waters.
Thursday’s highest temperature is 32.6°C and the lowest temperature is 23.5°C. (PNA)
