MANILA – At least four domestic flights via Manila were canceled on Friday due to bad weather at their destinations.
The Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said flights PAL Express (2P) 2905/2906 Manila - Antique - Manila; and CebGo (DG) 6041/6042 Manila - Busuanga - Manila, were canceled.
The weather bureau earlier forecast moderate to heavy rains over Western Visayas and Mimaropa due to the southwest monsoon. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are likely in these areas.
No other flights were canceled as of 1:20 p.m., the MIAA said. (PNA)
