6 suspects arrested for stealing cable wires in Bulacan

MALOLOS CITY, Bulacan – Authorities have arrested six suspects allegedly involved in stealing some PHP2.7 million worth of telephone cable wires in Marilao, this province on Thursday.

In his report on Friday, Colonel Charlie A. Cabradilla, acting provincial director of the Bulacan Philippine National Police (PNP), said the arrested suspects were identified as Mark Christopher Esteron, Daniel Aňasco, Raymond Salvador, Randolf Orejudos, Junfel Bryan Lagrido, and Joeven Libaoco.

“The stolen 770 meters amounting to PHP2,772,000 worth of telephone cable wires were recovered from the arrested suspects by personnel of the Marilao Police Station,” Cabradilla said.

He said the items were stolen from telecommunication service provider Racitelcom, Inc. located in Marilao.

He said the other recovered items include 200 pairs of 22-gauge cable wire estimated at 350 meters, three ladders, and one set toolbox.

“Bulacan police pursue its unrelenting effort to go after criminals and bring them before the bars of justice,” Cabradilla said in his statement. (PNA)
