Filipino firm to develop groundbreaking tech logistics platform

MANILA – LB TekSystems is set to develop a transport booking and routing system after being awarded by a leading oil and gas company an exclusive contract for the project.

LB TekSystems is an all-Filipino company providing digital consulting, solutions and implementation with a presence in the Philippines and Singapore aiming to transform the business ecosystem.

The company has been operating in the digital sphere for more than two years now with offices in Singapore, Caloocan City and Clark economic Zone.

The project is expected to disrupt the logistics industry with new value-added services backed by artificial intelligence (AI) and machine learning (ML) implementation.

This is in response to former President Rodrigo Duterte’s outreach to both private and public entities to work together under the “Build, Build, Build” program.

This project will also follow the idea of creating a technology-based, human-centered society which is a prime ingredient for creating a smart city.

On this note, the new administration under President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. vowed to continue to support and expand the infrastructure projects under the “Build, Build, Build” program.

To ensure the delivery of sustainable results, LB TekSystems will work together with government agencies such as the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) and the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH).

The project will significantly reduce the cost of delivery management software development and maintenance, enabling all stakeholders to operate better within their industry.

As of this writing, local and foreign IT companies offer delivery management software on a subscription basis averaging between USD182.35 and USD800 per month depending on the features included in the design.

This project is expected to open new job opportunities for a wide variety of working-class including programmers, drivers, porters and other positions in small and medium enterprises (SMEs) within the trucking and logistics industry. (PR)
