NTF Covid-19 transfers functions to NDRRMC

MANILA – The National Task Force (NTF) against Covid-19 on Wednesday announced that it will be passing its functions to the National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (NDRRMC).

"To streamline the government's pandemic response, the duties of the NTF will now be transferred to the NDRRMC," the body said in a press statement.

It added that all queries regarding NTF must be directed to the NDRRMC while questions about the vaccination program must be addressed to the Department of Health (DOH).

It also thanked the media for its assistance in disseminating the government's Covid-19 pandemic response.

"In the past two years, you have been a reliable partner in the government’s Covid-19 pandemic response. With your help, we have reached millions of Filipinos to amplify the importance of minimum public health standards and the national vaccination program," it stated.

The task force also hoped that the media will continue supporting the government's battle against the pandemic through the dissemination of reliable information. (PNA)
