BUTUAN CITY – The Department of Health-Caraga (DOH-13) reported that the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) vaccination rate in the region has reached 86 percent.
The DOH-13 reported Saturday that from 73.06 percent in July 10, the region has reached an 86.83 percent achievement as of July 21.
“The region has 1,673,857 individuals fully vaccinated,” DOH-13 said.
A total of 3,507,635 Covid-19 vaccines have been administered, 235,392 of them as booster shots.
Meanwhile, 68 new Covid-19 infections were recorded from July 10 to 16, bringing the total to 84 as of Saturday.
During the same one-week period, there were 21 recoveries. (PNA)
