Six of the 10 suspects were arrested when a police and military team dismantled a "drug den" in an operation Wednesday in Barangay Paradise in Diplahan town, Zamboanga Sibugay province.

Larubis said they yielded a KG9 sub-machinegun with ammunition, a grenade, PHP30,500 worth of suspected shabu, illegal drug paraphernalia, and other pieces of evidence.

Meanwhile, Col. Alexander Lorenzo, Zamboanga City Police Office, said authorities arrested Suji Taring Sali, 46, Satra Aning Abdul, 40, and Aksa Taliblan Arabasa, 38, in a buy-bust operation Wednesday morning in Barangay Bolong here.

The three suspects, believed to be big-time drug pushers, yielded some 50 grams of suspected shabu worth PHP340,000 and other pieces of evidence.

Moreover, Brigadier Gen. Neil Alinsangan, newly-installed Pollice Regional Office-9 (Zamboanga Peninsula) director, said that suspect Mark Anthony Kintanar, 24, was arrested in an anti-drug operation around 3:10 p.m. Wednesday in Barangay Linay in Manukan town, Zamboanga del Norte.
