MANILA – The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will be affecting southern Mindanao bringing cloudy skies with isolated showers on Saturday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said there would be partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms over Metro Manila and the rest of the country due to the ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.

ITCZ is the congregation of trade winds of the Northern and Southern Hemispheres resulting in cloudy skies.

No tropical cyclones are expected to enter the Philippine Area of responsibility for the next three days, according to the agency's public weather forecast aired over its YouTube channel.

There will be light to moderate winds headed east to northeast and slight to moderate coastal water conditions.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 25°C to 31°C; Baguio City from 17°C to 25°C; Legazpi City from 25°C to 32°C; Puerto Princesa City from 26°C to 31°C; Metro Cebu from 25°C to 31°C; and Metro Davao at 25°C to 32°C. (PNA)
