4 most wanted persons in Central Luzon arrested

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Authorities arrested four most wanted persons during separate manhunt operations conducted in the Central Luzon region this week.

In his report on Thursday, Police Regional Office 3 (Central Luzon) Director, Brig. Gen. Cesar R. Pasiwen, said the four have standing warrants for rape, acts of lasciviousness, and violation of Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

In Bulacan, authorities arrested Rolando Santos, the most wanted person in Balagtas town, for the crime of rape.

The warrant of arrest against him was issued by Judge Caroline Soriano Rojas of the Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 84 in Malolos City, Bulacan.

Also in Bulacan, operatives nabbed Jimboy Valderama, the No. 4 most wanted person in the province, under a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Mary Ann Tolentino Punzalan-Toribio of RTC Branch 99, Quezon for the crime of rape.

In Nueva Ecija, Ferdinand Moreno, listed as the No. 2 most wanted person in San Isidro town, was apprehended by authorities through a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Elenita Evangelista-Casipit of RTC Branch 36, Gapan City for the crime of lascivious conduct. Bail was set at PHP200,000.

Meanwhile, Nel Llarena, the No. 5 most wanted person in Central Luzon was arrested in Barangay Dau, Mabalacat City through a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Benigno C. Abila of RTC Branch 117, Angeles City for five counts of violation of RA 9165.

“As we aim for safer communities, all law enforcement agencies work closely together to fight all forms of criminality, including intensification of (the) campaign against wanted persons,” Pasiwen said in a statement. (PNA)
