CAMP OLIVAS, Pampanga – A total of 181 female police recruits took their oath as members of the Police Regional Office (PRO) 3 (Central Luzon) at the parade grounds here on Thursday.

PRO-3 Director, Brig. Gen. Cesar R. Pasiwen, administered the oath of office to the recruits after the presentation of the Regional Personnel and Records Management Division.

Pasiwen congratulated the rookie police officers for choosing to become members of the Philippine National Police (PNP).

He advised the young patrolwomen that as public servants, “they must be protectors of the innocents and defenders of human rights.”

“Today, your commitment to our country as law enforcers will commence. You should always aim to serve the public with utmost dedication bearing the core values of our organization – Maka Diyos, Makatao, Makakalikasan, at Makabansa (Pro-God, pro-people, pro-nature, and pro-country),” Pasiwen said in his message.

The new police recruits were chosen after a stringent screening process conducted by the Regional Screening Committee on Recruitment.

After their oath-taking, the new police officers will undergo the mandatory six-month basic training at the Regional Training School 3 in Magalang town, this province.

The hiring of the 181 applicants is in line with the region’s Attrition Recruitment Program for the year. (PNA)
