MANILA – Jeremy Miado scored a huge victory at ONE on Prime Video 3 at the Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur on Saturday.

Miado beat Danial Williams via knockout, which could put him in the ONE Championship's strawweight division rankings.

The end came at the 31-second mark of the final round when Miado hit a right hook to Williams that knocked him out for good.

The deciding blow was the icing on the cake of what had been a dominant performance by Miado that even saw Williams already bloodied entering Round 3.

Miado has now won four consecutive fights and moved up to 12-4 overall, and he could displace Williams in the ONE rankings.

Williams, who entered the contest as the No. 5 ranked strawweight, fell to 6-2, seeing his four-fight streak snapped.

Meanwhile, controversy hounded the main event between Fabricio Andrade and John Lineker for the ONE bantamweight title.

Andrade looked to be on his way to finishing off Lineker in the third round but appeared to have hit two knee shots at Lineker's groin area, prompting referee Olivier Coste to stop the fight at the 2:44 mark of the round.

Lineker eventually declared that he couldn't continue, so the match was declared a no-contest.

Because Lineker failed to make the 145-pound weight limit, he had to let go of his belt, leaving the championship vacant due to the no-contest. (PNA)
