MANILA – Rain Or Shine (ROS) has made an import change as the team goes on a late dash to make it to the PBA Commissioner's Cup quarterfinals.

The team officially announced on Monday that Ryan Pearson will take over as its import for the remainder of the eliminations, replacing Steve Taylor.

Pearson played four seasons at George Mason, the same alma mater that produced current ROS captain Gabe Norwood. He began his pro career in Europe before spending the last two seasons in Latin America, recently suiting up for Puerto Rican side Vaqueros De Bayamon.

The 32-year-old swingman will be making his first tour of duty in an Asian league.

Pearson is listed at six feet six inches, which could also make him eligible for the Governors' Cup should the Elasto Painters keep him for a little longer.

He will make his PBA debut on Friday when Rain Or Shine takes on Bay Area at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

Interestingly enough, both of the Dragons' two losses so far this conference came against teams with Governors' Cup-eligible imports, against Justin Brownlee's Barangay Ginebra and KJ McDaniels' Meralco Bolts. (PNA)
