MANILA – The Land Transportation Office (LTO) – Bicol has opened a new drive-thru facility offering renewal of vehicle registration in Pamplona District Office, Camarines Sur.

In a Facebook post, the LTO said the facility is more convenient and faster compared to the service offered by private motor vehicle inspection centers (PMVIC).

“Sa pamamagitan ng drive-thru facility, aabot na lamang sa tatlong minuto ang renewal registration at pag-proseso ng dokumento ng motorista, mula sa karaniwang 12 hanggang 17 minuto na proseso ng PMVICs (Through the drive-thru facility, processing of documents for the renewal of registration would only take three minutes compared to the usual 12 to 17 minutes of PMVICs),” it said.

The first drive-thru facility of the LTO was opened in Region 7 (Central Visayas) at the MVIC Complex, Subangdaku in Mandaue City back on July 6, 2020.

The facility was first started as part of the LTO’s response to Covid-19. (PNA)
