MANILA – Three weather systems will bring scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over several areas, the weather bureau said Wednesday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line and the easterlies will cause such condition over Batanes, Cagayan, Isabela, and Camarines provinces.

The intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ) will likewise dampen the regions of Caraga, Davao, and Soccsksargen.

Those areas may experience flash floods or landslides due to moderate with at times heavy rains, according to PAGASA.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will continue to experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over northern Luzon.

Elsewhere, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas.

PAGASA forecaster Aldzcar Aurelio said no weather disturbance was seen to affect the country. (PNA)
