MANILA – Most parts of the country will experience rains due to the intertropical convergence zone (ITCZ), the weather bureau said Thursday.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Visayas, Mindanao, Palawan, Albay, Sorsogon and Masbate will have scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

Flash floods and landslides are likely due to moderate to at times heavy rains

The same weather condition will prevail over Batanes due to the shear line.

The rest of Luzon will experience isolated rain showers caused by localized thunderstorms.

Moderate to strong winds and moderate to rough seas will prevail over Luzon and the Visayas.

Over Mindanao, winds will be light to moderate with slight to moderate seas, PAGASA said. (PNA)
