MANILA – The Maynilad Water Services, Inc. is offering free septic tank cleaning services to its residential and semi-business customers this November.
Septic tank cleaning service normally costs about PHP4,700 per truck.
“We ask our customers to avail of this service, as it will help to protect community health and the environment,” Maynilad chief operating officer Randolph Estrellado said in an interview on Thursday.
Maynilad’s sanitation program is one of the company’s efforts to reduce pollution in Metro Manila’s river system.
Customers residing in the following areas may avail of the free service:
barangays 80, 160 to 166, 170, 171, and 177 in Caloocan City; Barangay Almanza Uno in Las Piñas City; barangays Bangkal, Magallanes, and Palanan in Makati City; barangays Acacia, Longos, Potrero, and Tenejeros in Malabon City;
All barangays under the Sampaloc area in Manila; Barangay Bayanan in Muntinlupa City; Barangay North Bay Boulevard (north and south) in Navotas City; barangays BF Homes and Sun Valley in Parañaque City;
Barangay 183 and those under Balagbag, Baltao, Malibay, Maricaban, Pildera 2, and Villamor Air Base in Pasay City; barangays Baesa, Bagbag, Bahay Toro, Kaligayahan, Novaliches Proper, Pasong Putik, Payatas, Sangandaan, Sauyo, Sta. Lucia, and Talipapa in Quezon City; barangays Gen. T. de Leon and Ugong in Valenzuela City;
Barangays Habay I, Ligas I to III, Molino II, and San Nicolas I to III in Bacoor, Cavite; barangays 10-A and B, 13, 16, 18, 19, 23, 26, 28, 29, and 29-A in Cavite City; and Barangay Bayan Luma I to IX in Imus, Cavite.
