MANILA – A male passenger at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) was brought to a nearby hospital on Friday after losing consciousness and falling on the floor while at a check-in counter.

The man was in his senior years and was with his wife, according to Manila International Airport Authority Media Affairs Division staff member Zalde Morallos.

He was at a check-in counter of an airline bound for Incheon, South Korea when he fainted. A witness said there was blood on the floor after the man fell.

"The first responder was a co-passenger who is a doctor, and conducted a CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation)," Morallos said.

MIAA's medical team immediately arrived to bring the man to a hospital, he said. (PNA)
