4 wanted persons in Central Luzon arrested

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Authorities have arrested four individuals tagged as most wanted persons in separate manhunt operations conducted in Central Luzon on Tuesday.

In his report on Wednesday, Brig. Gen. Cesar R. Pasiwen, director of the Police Regional Office in Central Luzon (PRO-3), said the four have standing warrants for violation of Republic Act (RA) 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 and rape.

Operatives arrested Roxanne Madlangbayan, the No. 9 most wanted person in Mariveles, Bataan through a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Marion Jacquelyn Pallera Poblete of Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 2 in Balanga City, Bataan for violation of RA 9165 with PHP200,000 recommended bail.

On the other hand, Lance Vincent Santos and Lord Almonte, both most wanted persons in Pampanga, were nabbed for violation of RA 9165.

Santos was apprehended through a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Katrina Nora S. Buan-Factora of Family Court Branch 10 in Angeles City with PHP800,000 recommended bail.

Almonte was nabbed through a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Mary Jane Dacara Buenaventura of RTC Branch 43 in San Fernando City with PHP200,000 bail.

Meanwhile, operatives of Tarlac City Police Station served a warrant of arrest against Jonas Salunson, the 5th most wanted person in Tarlac, issued by Judge Joefferson B. Toribio of Branch 11 Family Court of Tarlac City, for rape.

“The entire Central Luzon police force, together with other police units, continues its intensified campaign to put lawless elements and wanted persons behind bars and maximizes its efforts to eradicate all forms of lawlessness in the region,” Pasiwen said in a statement. (PNA)
