Cops nab 4 suspects, seize P475-K shabu in Bicol

LEGAZPI CITY – Four suspects were arrested in anti-drug operations in Bicol over the weekend, the Police Regional Office-5 (PRO-5) said Monday.

Lt. Col. Maria Luisa Calubaquib, PRO-5 spokesperson, said 70 grams of shabu with an estimated street value of PHP476,000 worth of shabu was recovered in Sorsogon and Albay provinces.

She said Pangolima Ugkat Mohammad Ali, 46; Tumbaga King Pangolima Fahadz, 32; and Tumbaga Pangolima Sahabudin, 40; all of Purok 4, Sapu Padidu Malapatan, Sarangani Province were caught in an entrapment last Saturday in Purok 2, Barangay Peñafrancia, Daraga, Albay.

Police seized from the suspects 20 grams of shabu with an estimated value of PHP136,000, as well as assorted illegal drug paraphernalia.

In Sorsogon, police nabbed Jason Gabito, 38, of Barangay San Pedro, Irosin town after yielding
50 grams of shabu with an estimated value of PHP340,000 in an anti-drug operation.

The suspects will be charged with illegal drug raps. (PNA)
