'Best Christmas present,' says PBBM on YouTube Gold Play Button

MANILA – "What a best Christmas present."

This was how President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. expressed his excitement after receiving his YouTube Gold Play Button.

In a Facebook post Friday, Marcos thanked his followers for helping him reach a wider audience on his various social media accounts, including YouTube.

This, after Marcos shared that he now has a Gold Play Button which is given to content creators surpassing the 1 million subscribers mark.

Marcos currently has more than 2.7 million subscribers on his official YouTube account.

"Matagal din nating hinintay 'to (I have long been waiting for this)," he said in a video uploaded on his official Facebook and Twitter accounts.

"Tignan naman ninyo ang napakagandang Christmas gift na natanggap ko. Kaya't magpapasalamat ako sa lahat nang nagsusubaybay sa atin (This is the best Christmas gift I have ever received. That's why I am thankful to all my followers)," Marcos added.

Marcos urged netizens to keep visiting his social media accounts to keep them posted about his activities, programs, and accomplishments.

He also hoped that they would continue supporting him and his administration.

"At ipagpatuloy natin ang pag-post, pag-comment at pag-subscribe dito sa ating social media. Maraming, maraming salamat sa suportang binigay ninyo. Huwag po sanang magsawa ang suportang binibigay ninyo sa akin (Continue posting, commenting, and susbcribing on my social media accounts. Thank you for all your support. Please continue to support me)," Marcos said.

Marcos has promised to continue vlogging so as not to limit the dissemination of government information to mainstream media.

Netizens may visit Marcos' official account on Facebook, Youtube, Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok.

Several government offices, including the Office of the President (OP), the Office of the Press Secretary (OPS), and the Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM), are also sharing in their official social media accounts the Marcos administration's activities and plans for the country. (PNA)
