CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Authorities arrested a suspected drug pusher and seized nearly PHP14 million worth of shabu in a buy-bust in Barangay Loma De Gato, Marilao, this province on Wednesday night.
In his report on Thursday, Col. Relly Arnedo, the provincial director of Bulacan Police Provincial Office, said Marlon Navarro, 44, of Pangarap Village, Novaliches, Caloocan City, was nabbed by authorities around 11:20 p.m. Wednesday.
Navarro yielded were a transparent plastic sachet of suspected shabu, the boodle money consisting of 67 pieces of PHP1,000 bills and two packs of high-grade suspected shabu placed inside a Chinese tea bag weighing approximately 2,050 grams with an estimated street value of PHP13,940,000.
He will be charged with violation of Sections 5 and 11, Article II of Republic Act 9165 (Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act). (PNA)
