CABANATUAN CITY, Nueva Ecija – The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) has released almost 350,000 Philippine Identification System (PhilSys) ID cards to registrants in this province.

Elizabeth Rayo, the chief statistical specialist of PSA-Nueva Ecija, said on Thursday a total of 348,782 ID cards have been distributed to the Novo Ecijanos from October 2022 to Jan. 20, 2023.

Rayo said registrants who want to request for printable national IDs may come to the PhilSys registration centers.

She said the printed PhilID is given to registered persons issued with PhilSys numbers.

“Kung generated na ang PhilSys number ay pwede na nila itong maprint at makuha ng may-ari (If the PhilSys number has already been generated, this can be printed and get by the registrants),” she said in a radio interview.

Rayo also said similar to the physical PhilID card, a printed digital or ePhilID may be requested free of charge.

To date, there are some 1.6 million Novo Ecijanos who have registered in the PhilSys. (PNA)
