MANILA – Six domestic flights have been canceled as of 3 p.m. Tuesday due to bad weather in some areas, the Manila International Airport Authority (MIAA) said.
These flights include Cebu Pacific (5J) and PAL Express (2P) flights between Manila and Zamboanga -- 5J 855/856 and 2P 2997/2998.
The MIAA said 5J and 2P flights to and Zamboanga scheduled before noon proceeded and only those scheduled in the afternoon were canceled.
The MIAA added that AirAsia Philippines also flies these routes, but there was no flight cancellation advise from them.
Also canceled were CebGo flights DG 6881/6882 between Manila and Surigao.
Only CebGo has flights to Surigao City, according to MIAA.
The weather bureau forecast scattered rain showers and thunderstorms to prevail over Caraga Region due to the shear line. (PNA)
