‘Amihan’ to bring partly cloudy skies, light rains Saturday

MANILA – Most parts of the country will have lightly overcast skies and light rains on Saturday, with the northeast monsoon or "amihan" affecting Luzon.

In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the Visayas, Mindanao, and Palawan will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to localized thunderstorms.

Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with light rains brought by the “amihan”.

Winds in Luzon and the Visayas will be moderate to strong, headed northeast to east, with moderate to rough seas.

In Mindanao, winds will be light to moderate, headed northeast to north, with slight to moderate seas.

The temperature in Metro Manila will range from 23°C to 31°C; Laoag City, 21°C to 31°C; Lipa City, 24°C to 31°C; Metro Cebu, 25°C to 31°C; Metro Davao, 25°C to 32°C; and Zamboanga City, 24°C to 33°C. (PNA)
